JEROMY WALK
HEAD COACH
I began coaching youth soccer in 2006 when I registered my oldest son for a recreational soccer league. I received a phone call from the league director asking for my help in coaching a team because there were not enough coaches. Needless to say, I took the opportunity, and I am still coaching 16 years later. Here are some of the highlights of my experiences as a coach.
-
Utah Youth Soccer Boy’s Competition Coach of the Year 2012
-
Numerous coaching licenses and diplomas including USSF F, E, D and C license, US Youth Soccer National Youth license, Coerver Youth diploma and NSCAA Level 1 & 2 Goalkeeper diplomas.
-
3 State Championships
-
Coached 11 players that went on to play at the collegiate level.
-
Winner of the Positive Coaching Alliance Double-Goal Coaching Award 2020
I have had the privilege of coaching this particular group of boys for the past two years. This team has players of incredible diversity and parents that support their sons with undying devotion. My goal is to see every boy on this team go on to college and become accomplished student athletes.
SHANE SIDDOWAY

AARON ALVAREZ

Shane Siddoway has always been passionate about soccer. He took this passion through college when he played soccer at Westminster College, where he graduated with a master’s in business. Among his many soccer accolades, Shane was on the academic and all-region teams his final two years at Westminster, played with the state ODP team for four consecutive years, and played on the Utah Select team.
After graduation, Shane’s passion never left the sport. He began coaching youth soccer at all levels of play and has been involved in coaching various teams for over 30 years. Shane possesses his National D license and has been coaching with USA’s soccer club since 1997 coaching both girls’ and boys’ teams. He has also had the pleasure of coaching at the high school level when he coached a Highland High boys’ team and Bingham High’s girls’ team.
Shane is married, has five kids, and four grandkids; and when he not on the soccer field, you can find him enjoying time with his family.
Shane has enjoyed being with this 2008 boys’ team since many of them first started playing competitive soccer; he can truly attest to the growth and success this team has had and has ahead them.
Aaron is a Salt Lake City native. He has been playing soccer ever since he could walk. He started his coaching career in 2018 with the USA club. His coaching style is player centered allowing the players to learn from their mistakes, while being able to develop the players as an athlete and as a whole person based on the individuals’ needs and goals for their performance.
Aaron has a National D license and is currently looking to enhance his coaching education by enrolling for his National C license. He has also coached boys and girls for Utah ODP, Granger High School, and at Utah Development Academy.
Aaron is new to this team but is aware that this team is filled with players with incredible qualities that are exhibited on and off the field such as: insatiable passion, driven, incredibly hard working, respectful, and an undoubtedly committed group of boys. Aaron is excited to see the growth and development of this group in the coming years.
